The Haven @ Clarence Street – For anyone aged 16 and over who is experiencing a mental health crisis, are in distress, or their carers, can come to The Haven – you don’t need a formal referral or appointment.

York St John Communities Centre – Offering affordable counselling to communities outside York St John University as well as support groups. Online self-referral. Donations for counselling.

York Women’s Counselling – Provides counselling to women in the York area. Donations between £15 -£30 depending on personal finances.  Up to 20 sessions.  Waiting list.

Offers self-guided help, online or telephone support, group and one to one support depending on individual circumstances.

 

GP Surgeries – Many GP groups now offer one to one counselling to patients.  There may be a waiting list.
