  Counselling Team Facilitator

  Hi, I am Viki, a qualified therapeutic counsellor, offering a warm, person-centred and relational approach. I have experience working with a broad range of issues, including low self-esteem, low mood, anger, relationship difficulties, burnout, anxiety, bereavement, age-related life transitions and depression. In addition to my counselling role, I am also the Counselling Team Facilitator, where I support the 1-2-1 counselling team and Board of Trustees.

  1-2-1 has been part of my life from its beginnings over 30 years ago, first as supervisor to the founder members, and over subsequent years as a counsellor, mentor, manager, chair and trustee. Having come to counselling as a second career, I am unwilling to let go!

  Tanya Lyons

  Trustee

  I’m a qualified, BACP-registered integrative counsellor, trained in humanistic counselling. I work relationally, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my practice. Alongside my private counselling work, I’m a trustee supporting 1-2-1 in providing accessible counselling locally, and a casual academic at York St John University. My professional background includes criminal justice, domestic abuse, and substance use and recovery. Outside work, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors.
